Info drag from C&MS;

The first published orbit came on 2002 October 29. B. G. Marsden (Central Bureau for Astronomical Telegrams) took 88 positions spanning the period of October 12 to 29, and calculated a parabolic orbit with a perihelion date of 2004 April 23.69. Ultimately, the comet proved to be moving in a hyperbolic orbit, with a perihelion date of April 23.08.

Predictions 2004

Hyperbolic orbit...cool!!

Thanks for the 3d viewer/data link....again..cool!

Comments:
like Marsdens concerns for all cometary crossings...whats the outgassing doing to the comets orbital tack..and whats the new figures and dates.

The extremely close perihelion distances (100 to 400 thousand miles from the sun's surface) have prompted the theory that Kreutz sungrazers originated with one large parent comet.

Interesting..Comet 2002V1 NEAT was 0.0999 AU...Comet 2002 T7 Linear is 0.8 AU window.

Have to bone up on how many other AU 0.8 to 0.9 comets have appeared in last decades..if there is a possible hint that they reflect the Sungrazer format....and are from a super breaking up.

I have a question to ask you, or anybody that might shine any light that might answer something that I was wondering about. What element(s), gases, or particles can effect and reduce our megentic field ?

#2. Do we have any idea what these comets are made of ?
