I don't like that term. It's more the pity that we're talking about otherwise full-fledged humans caught in the subhuman death loop of Islam and the generally bad socio-polical climate of the Middle East.

That said, I agree that Fallujah should be paved over, ASAP. It is not up to us to "reform" them via our attempts at "understanding" them and achieving "tolerance" of some insipid form. It is high time that they begin to truly "understand" us.
