Regards,
It's going to be hard for me to live without my Heinz 57 Steak Sauce this grilling season, though.

Heinz Canada's Leamington plant announces $4.3 million investment to expand pasta sauce production
Canada NewsWire reports that Heinz Canada has announced plans to relocate production of 1.2 million cases of canned tomato pasta sauce from a Borden Montreal facility to the Heinz Leamington plant. The company will make a $3 million capital investment to move equipment from Montreal and re-install it in Leamington. Heinz will also spend an additional $1.3 million to install a new tomato paste filler which will extend the plant's production capabilities for seasonal tomato products.
The announced expenditure builds on the successful launch this fall of the production line for a new plastic ketchup jug for the food service market in Canada and the US. Sales of the new plastic ketchup jug dubbed "Big Red" are exceeding initial projections and plans are under way to market the jug to additional new channels beyond food service. The growth in demand for additional tomato solids to be used in production of a range of processed tomato products from ketchup to chili sauce resulted in the decision to invest $1.3 million for the tomato paste filler. The filler will add 35,000 tons of storage space bringing plant capacity up to 275,000 tons of fresh tomatoes annually.
Heinz Canada's Leamington plant -- one of the largest production facilities in the world for Heinz products -- provides a wide range of products including ketchup, chili sauce, tomato juice, jarred baby foods, infant cereal, canned beans and pasta, and vinegar. With the addition of the Catelli, Bravo and Gattuso pasta sauces, total canned production at Leamington will grow to more than 23 million cases or an increase of 5.4%.
Did you say $510,000,000??? No wonder John married Thereza. That's a lot of ketchup bottles sold to get to the White House.
check out factcheck.org to see public record of what the Kerry's position is with the Heniz company before you start throwing away your ketchup!
Been doing this for over a year now. BTW, OreIda is a Heinz brand. I don't have the whole list...anyone who does, please post.
"Boycott Heinz"
Younz people crazy n at or what?
We have been.
A while back, I bought a case of "W" Ketchup.
It's great, and some of the profits go to a scholarship for the children of our Fallen Heroes.
What could be better than that?
BUSH WINNING!!! THAT'S WHAT!!!!
Let's make it happen.
I no longer buy Heinz products and have noticed that my supermarket is selling two Heinz tomato ketchup bottles for the price of one! Which evidently means that they must be having the need to move the paste fast!
Definitely time to switch to Hunts. Or generic for all I care. Just not Heinz. Heinz scrambled to make sure we all know that Teraaaayyyyzza doesn't have any decision making power in the company but... too bad so sad.
