If I want to tool thru the mountains on a trip, there is little to beat the Celtic Music of Silly Wizard, turned way up.

Woo-hoo! I LOVE Silly Wizard. I cried when Johnny Cunningham passed away a little while back.

Also good for cranking way up: Wolfstone (they ROCK), Old Blind Dogs, and Lunasa. Also Slainte Mhath, but they're kind of an acquired taste.

I have actually met Andy M. Stewart twice. He is getting a little long in the tooth, but what a character.

I'm sorry to hear about Johnny. I once saw Phil Cunningham perform live - the fastest hands on a piano-keyboard accordian I ever heard - I saw his hands fly and still can't believe it.
