Try to point out the downside legacy of going gay, and there is a downside legacy, but if that is his choice, based on hard wiring or otherwise (and it is a continuum, some are hard wired, some are closer to the tipping point, and some are just experimenting), you will love him nonetheless. Just a suggestion.

Thank you Torie. Some of the sensitivity he extends to me might be based in his condition (or supposed condition, as tonight was the first time I observed such behavior). Maybe he's just trying to fry Grandma good (this isn't past his sense of humor for sure).
