From the context, I think "Multicultural" is the name of a broadcasting company. It probably owns a number of foreign language radio stations. The station in Chicago is Spanish, and the one in LA is Korean.

Too funny. I can just picture a Korean family sitting around listening to the radio: Turn it off, they're talkng in English again.
