Look, the poor man is probably a good person, but he does not convey intelligence in any way.
Look at Cheney, he does.

Bush grew up in Midland, TX. People in Midland, TX, don't make a habit of running off at the mouth. They let their actions speak for them.
If you were bright you would have figured that out by now.

He lacks a sparkling wit, but he has judgement. His decision on the gov't stem cell lines just before WTC911 was totally researched and all possibilities looked at, and he decided correctly, both ethically and legally. Most impressive. He even pronounced the hard words correctly. That performance gives me the confidence to trust his decisions after WTC911. He did fine tonight; we have to admire the strength of his stand.

Intelligence is a funny thing. My eldest son went to MIT at 15. He's now a psych. prof in New Zealand, and, frankly, a complete idiot. Well, maybe not a complete idiot...but he'd never come around to the conservative point of view. The elitist Eastern Lib. mindset: We're to blame for the world's ills. He hated Clinton, knew he was a sociopath, but he'd vote socialist in a heartbeat. I'd trust a plain-speaking Texan any day of the week before some smooth talking, supposedly intelligent politician. The president said it again tonight, he says what he means. He doesn't go back on his word, and neither does America.
