On PBS Oliphant said that having spent time with the Kerry campaign recently, it was a breath of fresh air to listen to W speaking with such clarity, focus and emphasis ! David Brooks, the other panelist, said the on-air apologies like Clarke's etc were uneccessary and not appropriate.

Bad call by the admins in my opinion. tubavil was calling it like he saw it and I was hoping we could get him to think more and feel less. He was not dangerous and he was not pursuading anybody.
