Yonif you have provided NO evidence of that and a source that is VERY biased in favor of Israel. No one said Arafat is not a terrorist. He is a TERRORIST to ISRAEL not the U.S. but you don't want to acknowledge that.

Here is one piece of evidence.

Victims of Hebrew University 2002 massacre remembered

Richard LeBaron, deputy chief of mission of the US Embassy, spoke on behalf of Ambassador Daniel Kurtzer. He called attention to the fact that five victims were American citizens attending the university. LeBaron described "the shared grief of the people of Israel and the US" as "another dimension of our common bond."

I can tell you one thing for sure the U.S. will NOT do its bidding. The war with Arafat is really between Israel and him. Surely Israel can murder another terrorist. Wasn't it Hamass that they blew off his head a week or so ago? The blind guy in a wheel chair, remember? Why can't Israel take care of this guy?

Arafat is a terrorist leader who is part of the group waging terrorism on the West. I am not saying that Israel cannot kill another terrorist like Arafat. What I am saying is that the US should be giving Israel, as the only friend in the world to it, support when it comes to fighting terrorism. Just like Bush gave support to Spain when they declared ETA was responsible for the bombing (even though we found out later that they weren't). But we saw Bush support Spain in its fight against terror groups like ETA, even though ETA didn't really pose a threat to us.

Again, why can't Israel handle this problem? Alot of people don't like the people you mentioned. Arafat is small potatoes compared to Bin Laden and Saddam Insane.

Arafat invented suicide terrorism. He has been one of the terrorist leaders overseeing the murder of up to 1500 innocents, including members of other nations. Israel can handle this problem, but it needs support, and it is extremely unhelpful when America says it is against taking action against Arafat. Maybe if the US would be quiet, that would be better. Remember the 1981 Iraq Reactor destruction by Israel? Sure, Israel got flak from the US for doing that stuff, but the US never told Israel not to attack Iraq.

Don't goad me with that ... this is a target for Israel to deal with. Isn't it time Israel stepped up to the plate after ALL THE U.S. HAS DONE FOR ISRAEL? Let Israel do its part for the "war on terrorism". It is NOT the role of the U.S. to be a world policeman for anyone who bothers Israel. The U.S. has to have a compelling interest (U.S. interest) before they go to war or assassinate people.

I stated that fact because you said only Jews would have a bias against Arafat. The US needs to clearly say Israel is part of the war on terrorism and support her in her fight, instead of treating this terrorist war as a separate thing. The US has interest in Middle East stability, a democratic Middle East, and a terrorism free Middle East. The presence of Yasser Arafat does neither of these three.
