Here, UC Berkeley Lecturer Hatem Bazian calls for an intifada in the United States:

“Are you angry? [Yeah!] Are you angry? [Yeah!] Are you angry? [Yeah!] Well, we’ve been watching intifada in Palestine, we’ve been watching an uprising in Iraq, and the question is that what are we doing? How come we don’t have an intifada in this country? Because it seem[s] to me, that we are comfortable in where we are, watching CNN, ABC, NBC, Fox, and all these mainstream... giving us a window to the world while the world is being managed from Washington, from New York, from every other place in here in San Francisco: Chevron, Bechtel, [Carlyle?] Group, Halliburton; every one of those lying, cheating, stealing, deceiving individuals are in our country and we’re sitting here and watching the world pass by, people being bombed, and it’s about time that we have an intifada in this country that change[s] fundamentally the political dynamics in here. And we know every— They’re gonna say some Palestinian being too radical — well, you haven’t seen radicalism yet!”

Does anyone know how to contact the individual regents for the UC system? Also the governernor and our state senators should be overwhelmed with constitutents calling for this fellow to be terminated.

Its hard to think of a greater offense to the American people than to have someone on the payroll of a taxpayer funded university calling for the destruction of our country and being paid to teach our children. Lord knows what goes on in his classroom.

In other words he's an Islamic propagandist and fifth columnist.
What he's advocating is sedition and he should be kicked out of the country.

This is a quiet footnote to that comment. There is a significant difference between Sikh and Muslim headgear.

The oddest thing: Jerry Brown is mayor of Oakland, and as God as my witness doing an amazing job. Incredible really. He's turning that city around.

Berkeley is going the opposite direction. They nearly lost their creditation in electrical engineering, if you can believe it.

The only thing I can think of better than having a Sikh on either side of me would be to have a Sikh on one side and a Gurkha on the other...with an Apache and a Korean pulling night watch for us, and a Nung out working recon.

What the is with our fractured, tepid congress? The ones who voted for our preemptive strike on Iraq who now can't be bothered with the war, who aren't explaining to their constituents why it's still important? I want them to stop what they're doing every day and remember how our troops are fighting to defend their luke warm patriotism, fighting to defend our bill of rights -- all of it. Fighting to defend western civilization from the biggest threat since communism.

Yes, if the patience of the people runs out, I have no doubt that just like after 9.11, a bunch of non muslims will get caught, like the Sikhs, Hindus, Christians and even one poor Mexican after 9.11.

I think the threat of terror in the US is high now.

This dirtbag was on O'Reilly last night. O'Reilly asked him if he really said that there should be an intifada in the U.S.? Hatem backed down and said that he was for peaceful means of change and that his speech at the rally was taken out of context. O'Reilly said, "Good, then do you denounce Hamas and Hezbollah? He then, taking a page out of that blowhard frontman for C.A.I.R. Ibisch (sp?), started to equivocate the treatment of the Palistinians by the Israelis. O'Reilly pressed him again on the subject and just got more of his Arab vs Israeli spiel. O'Reilly let that pass and ended the interview.
I viewed the tapes, and I interpret "You ain't seen nothing yet!" a far cry from a peaceful plea for change.
