The President and his family spent Easter Sunday at the Chapel at Fort Hood and then visited soldiers at the Darnell Community Hospital.

President Bush held a joint press conference with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, at his ranch Monday, April 12, 2004 in Crawford, Texas, discussing Sharon's plans for the Gaza Strip, among other subjects.

The President left for the Waco airport shortly after the completion of the press conference, and flew home to the White House.

The President announced that he will hold a press conference in the White House, Tuesday night, at 8:20 PM EDT.

I am really getting tired of being 'ticked' off! I can't watch TV anymore. Its just not good for my blood pressure! I hope Pres Bush does a good job tomorrow. I really hope the journalists show him the respect he deserves. His job is hard enough without ignorant reporters asking stupid questions. I swear they all go to Stupid Question School!

Do I have time to send him some magazines or books or something?

Does this mean he's NOT going back to Iraq? (I hope I hope!)

...Hope he does a good job, maybe loses his temper a little with the idiot questions.

I like when he gets a little hot under the collar with the press too...they need to be put in their place on occasion.

YES....it means no more Iraq for Mike...he will now start the mundane task of processing his troops at Ft Campbell....tons of paperwork he can have done before they get there.....

He sure sleeps a lot...he told me that he has barely slept for a year and and the release of stress is unbelievable...now if he can only stop worrying about his troops convoy to Kuwait...all will be well then.

I just caught a very small part of the press conference today, but I thought I heard him say something to the reporters about manners.

I'm so glad he's not going back and I'm sure you are too! (sorry, Mike!)

He won't stop worrying till they're all home, will he? I bet it will all go a lot faster with him having at least some of the paperwork done, won't it?

Are YOU sleeping any better, now that you don't have to worry about him?

What did the dr. say about his nose?

Hmmm, wondering out loud if the man behid the twins is the Military aide that carries the "football" - the nuclear codes? I thought under this Pres., the Military aide is usually wearing his uniform.

I was struck by how, when the President got off the helicopter, he waited so patiently for Laura's mom and his parents to get off before he started walking away. He respects others and this is just another way it shows.

I keep hearing about Kerry and his "Misery Index" and how they had one years ago--anyone know anything about it? (I'm taking my news in very small pieces so as not to burst an aneurysm!)
