Yep. In the early 80s (possibly late 70s 79 to 81 or there about) they had a guy on a Houston AM talk radio show. I recall that the show was called The Devils Advocate, and I recall that the hosts name was Ron Paul (but I could be confusing things its been a while).
I do remember one specific show in which an HIV-positive man called in and described how he (and others that were HIV+) would meet somewhere once a month, split up into groups, and carpool to various cities to donate blood purposefully to infect the blood supply.
His quote, IIRC, was that if homosexuals (many *also* IV drug users, BTW) are the only ones with AIDS the U.S. government will just let us die. We have to make it so their children and parents and friends get it. -Something very similar to that.
Several of us tried to make a stink of it Id recorded that particular show and sent copies to several state representatives
nothing. Ive sort of accepted the fact that if I need a transfusion at this late date its time to go anyway
In other words, 'the end justifies the means'. THIS is what I cannot stand about Leftism. Too many that think that this is perfectly fine.
