Hey! I know quite a bit of trivia without having to look it up on Google! Do you think I didn't know about White? :(

Although you have insulted me, I came up with 2 of the 5:

Mike Piazza
Carlton Fisk

Could be! Baseball's not my favorite sport, so I can't say for sure.

OK - name the 5 all-time HR leaders as catchers (Google takes the saloon fun out of sports trivia).

Not sure if he's in the top 5 overall,
but I'm fairly certain that Smokey Burgess is #1 as far as career PINCH HIT HR's by a catcher.

BTW, I actually have a children's book called "The Story of Football" (had it since seven) that has a several photographs of White at Colorado and one from the Pittsburgh days.

Remembering that photo, here's the question. What was the name of the Los Angeles team before the Rams?

Also, other than the Giants and Yanks, name one other NYC NFL team.

Alas, Staten Island is the forgotten borough.

Which is understandable, considering the Stapletons utterly sucked, judging by their brief stay in the league.

LA Bulldogs. I also can't get over the fact that the Rams blew out of Cleveland right after winning their title.

You are so right about Oakland. Maybe it's the parking situation out there that has driven so many to the loony left.
