Instead FOX, CNN, ABC, CBS and NBC give free media time to Kerry and ignore his past... Yep. I'm a bit disapointed that Fox hasn't hit him harder on this issue. It appears that they are getting a bit gun-shy from being labeled a "conservative mouthpiece" by their competition.

They used conservatives to build up their network as the alternative to the liberal media. Now they are joining their rivals (eg. dumping Tony Snow, O'Reilly bashing Bush nightly, etc.), trying to widen their base, and assuming their conservative viewers will come along.
