The man is blowing it. He already blew it domesticly. Bigtime. Big gubmint is bigger than ever. By quantum leaps. He has done pretty well on the War on Terrorism. But now this war in Iraq, which I support, is going out of control

Wow, talking like a real CNN expert. Give more credit to GW and our military, and less credit to the liberal media which is working overtime to defeat GW. I can't believe so many repeat everything they hear without doing much thinking.

By the way, regarding the economy, here is a good post to read:

The ranking for the average misery index for given periods in descending order are as follows:
George Herbert Walker's average misery index is a massively large 10.7 percent.
The Post WWII period's average is a rather large 9.5 percent.
The average for Clinton's first term weighs in at a moderate 8.8 percent.
George W.'s current misery index is 7.6 percent.
The average for Clinton's second term is 6.8 percent.

This means that George W.'s current misery index is roughly only two-thirds of his father's average. In other words, with the exception of the hyper-growth of Clinton's second term, the current misery index compares very favorably with every other time-period analyzed here. LINK

I always respect what you have to say. Believe me, I do not arrive at my assesmant of world political events and situations by listening to the lame stream media. I don't even attend to such outlets.

Do I really need to go into the long long litany of disappointments bush has handed his base? We all know it. It is egregious and his sellouts have wounded not just conservatism but this land.

Now we appear to be attempting nation building in Iraq before we have defeated the military. This is insane. OUR young men are dying because of Bush's nice guy methods. History has given us ample precedent on how to rebuild a nation. ie Japan and Germany. We did not bring down the evil empire of the USSR by getting them to trust us. We crushed them economically.

I have lost all faith in George W Bush. I do not believe he knows what he is doing nor do his advisors. Evidently he is allowing bureaucrats of the same stripe who led us into the historically catastrophic swamp of Viet Nam to make his policy.

Because we hate the demonrats we have to pretend that we love this bumbling privileged son of a bureaucrat who has never served us (conservatives) at all .... let alone well?

I don't buy it.

I want change. Massive change. I will vote for him because I am not a fool. I know the rats and Kerry will be twice as bad. But Bush must change. The consequences of his staying the stupid course he has charted will be awful.
