And .. how many emails have you sent out making those points ..??
I'm probably regarded as a pain-in-the-ass by the local newspapers; I send in a lot of letters-to-the-editor, and a lot of them are published, but I obviously can't do it every day on every topic. My last one was last week (I don't know if it was or will be published), mentioning the fact that - two years ago - Sen. Bob Graham (D) had described the notorious 8/6/01 memo as outdated and generalized information, not specific to 9-11. This was to counter the media feeding frenzy suggesting that the memo was a "smoking gun."

I just sent the one to Chairman Kean today: (I'll check my sent file and tell you where I sent the PDB emails). Here's my list: timemag, fox, nydailynews, pickett @suntimes, conason @observer, Blumenthal, Fineman, Krugman, Clift, Pinkerton, Chronicle, NYTimes.
Oh yeah, I got an email this morning from a Jewish newspaper in Kansas - asking permission to print my letter regarding some very hateful statements made about President Bush in an article in their online publication; they want to put it in their print publication too.
Just because some people think you're a "pain" shouldn't stop you, mainly because there are a lot of other people saying the very same thing. Glad to see you're getting printed on a regular basis. Keeping our opinion out there is very important.

Dear Chairman Kean:
Ms. Gorelick, formerly the number two person in the Clinton Justice Department is a Democrat appointee to the Commission. She is charged with preparing a full and complete account of the circumstances surrounding the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
Ms. Gorelick is an inappropriate choice for that position because she was a former member of the DoJ under the Clinton Administration, and is currently a partner in the Washington law firm of Wilmer, Cutler & Pickering. According to Newsweek, Wilmer, Cutler represents Prince Mohammed al Faisal in the suit by the 9/11 families. The families contend that al Faisal has legal responsibility for the 9/11 attacks.
Due to this revelation of information regarding Ms. Gorelick, there is no other acceptable action left to this committee's Chairman than to dismiss Ms. Gorelick for extreme conflicts of interest.
And .. there are already serious questions regarding the credibility of this commission (which has already been revealed) but now the sincerity of this commission and some of its commissioners to examine the truth of 9/11 is being called into play.
This commission might end up with some good recommendations for change which would benefit America, however, if your credibility and sincerity are in question, I don't think people will be so willing to take your advice. You will have spent my tax money for NOTHING!
Ms. Gorelick must be dismissed for her extreme conflicts of interest to the commission's goals.
