Why don't you take a shot at answering the same question I asked Gritty and Brian Allen.

Are you saying that Free Republic is exempt from federal law or are you saying that Freepers should become outlaws, thereby placing themselves in jeopardy of being hauled into court?

To which one of these propositions do you subscribe?

My original thought was if we exerpted, the original news outlet, whatever, would be happy to get a 'hit', someone new to read their stuff, see their ads, acknowledge directly that the article emanated from that site. I thought that's what they wanted.
