If He catches you swimming, He'll expect the tank top. "No man knows the day nor the hour." But if you're paying Him a formal visit, a tanktop would be inappropriate.

Yes, he will, even in the face of the tremendous disrespect you would show him by showing up in a tank top instead of a suit.
