IN Iraq on Good Friday, I thought of the film "The Passion." I am a Christian. The film brought me close to tears. But not for quite the reason Mel Gibson intended.

Watching the grotesque suffering on the screen, my thoughts were less of Christ than of what human beings do to one another. I didn't really see the Jerusalem of 2,000 years ago. I saw Auschwitz, Rwanda, Cambodia, the Gulag . . .

Thank you.

I wish that the hand wringing Nervous Nancy's would get it through their thick skulls, that there is evil in this world; and closing our eyes will not make it go away.

Today, Halabja's thriving again. Poor, but vivid with life, it's a monument to the human will to survive.

Perhaps the Kurds know something we don't . .

UP TO 7,000 KILLED INSTANTLY

Experts estimate that between 5,000 and 7,000 residents were killed immediately while tens of thousands more were exposed over the years by drinking contaminated water or eating contaminated food. A photograph of a man shielding an infant with his body -- both were killed by the gas -- has become an icon of Kurdish suffering and a monument here.

The pictures show the plans the terrorists (e.g., Iranians, Iraqis, Syrians, Palestinians, Saudis etc.) have for America! The Iranians have greatly refined their use with bio warfare (i.e., vapor devices) for use in Britian and America. Funding roads all lead to Saudi Arabia; but, the ambassador and entourage (both in NY and DC) will maintain their status on the A List!

Those Iraqi children remind me of the Branch Davidian children whose bodies were twisted by poison gas courtesy of Bill Clinton and Janet Reno.
