James Carville. 'Of course, it was a warning'...

Yes, James. It was a warning to people about the consequences of electing hedonists to the highest office of the nation...

Yeah, that clever Ben Veniste sure got the best of Condi.

I was floored when some other freepers said earlier that Pinkerton was fooled into this line of thinking (I hope he is embarrassed).

I hope Pinkerton realizes by this point that the memo--title and all--were public knowledge, though the *actual text* not revealed until today, way back in 2002.

Ask this question to yourself:

Would 9/11 have happened if Al Gore was president?

The answer is obviously YES.

The sad part is that Pinkerton could have known that fact, had he been on this website this week. But I'm not sure how any thinking human being, could have watched Condi's testimony, and thought that Ben-Veniste tricked her into anything. I'm deeply saddened......

You mean the name that was revealed in a May 2002 front page Washington Post story?

What was Bush supposed to do, stop ALL flights as of Aug 6, stop all Arabs from getting near govt bldgs...? These Democrats are so damn Jealous of Bush's INTEGRITY that they are willing to do harm to this country, just in the hope of having the American people hate Bush also. Sick Puppies.

What's wierd is that I went back to Pinkerton's Newsday Op-Ed and saw this paragraph:

"The Washington Post reported in May 2002 that Bush had received a President's Daily Brief on Aug. 6, 2001, entitled "Bin Laden Determined to Strike in U.S." But, of course, not everything that's reported becomes widely known, or is necessarily true. And so for most Americans, yesterday's 9/11 hearing provided their first occasion to learn, from the highest sources, just what was in that document."

Was that in the original, or did he get wise and add it? Would the original be cached by Google?

Even Carville knows he is talking nonsense. Given what was in the August PDB, I still don't know exactly what would have been different. How in the world can the US govt completely change their standard operating procedures in one month? Maybe airport security could have gone up, but that would have taken many months to get up to speed. It could have been suggested to form the Dept of Homeland Security and get more people in government talking security, but this would not have been supported by congress. Increased spying on US citizens would have gone over like a lead balloon. FBI and CIA working together? Ha! It wouldn't have happened. Start a war in Afghanistan to eradicate Taliban and bin Laden and terrorists? Again, no way it would have happened. I think the only thing that might have been possible was for the FBI higher ups to listen to more of the lower level reports, but there were thousands of terrorist leads and impossible to know which to follow. If anything was to be done, it should have STARTED decades earlier by giving the CIA more authority, not taking it away.

How about this for a bombshell memo:
To: Ariel Sharon
Subj: Palestinian Terrorists determined to strike inside Israel
Palestinian terrorist groups Hamas, Hezbollah and the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade want to strike inside Israel soon. Suspicious activities consistent with preparations for suicide bombings have been observed. Possible targets include buses, restaurants and large public gathering places.

That should be enough info to prevent all future attacks, and if it doesn't, they should have a Commission look into it!

With reference to this "memo" the Media
and Terrorists are simply operating on
the premise that the ends justify the
means= Destroy President Bush and the will
of the American People to fight Islamic
terrorism at all cost.

The Media
is
"The Matrix"

Wake up William,
Wake Up.
