How about...

Should the US send more troops to Iraq if the military asks for them?

There may be a thread of truth to the poll.

If it gets much worse, we may have to change tactics, and..

We wouldn't want a whole buch of our troops there during a wall to wall carpet bombing.

If used properly, the number of troops already there are more than enough to handle it.

U.S. commanders in Iraq are developing contingency plans to send more American forces to the country if the situation worsens.

And this is even an issue worth contemplating?

One really wonders at times what the average I.Q. of the American public is these days if the majority vote is a nay.

Could you please say in the title "web poll."

For a second there I thought all my hair would turn gray.

I say "no", too.
Either bomb the stinking "insurgents" into oblivion, or hang back and keep a real low profile until June 30th. But sending more troops over there to continue playing patty-cake with these sick ingrates would be ridiculous.

This is one of the more IGNORANT questions to pop up since Kerry & Kennedy decided to play their 1970's roles again.

Currently we have American's in harms way. They aren't their by accident. Further, they are our military, they are our kids!!! Born, raised, schooled, trained and equipped by Americans. Volunteers! American Warriors!!

If they need our help, WE SEND HELP!!!

Kerry and Kennedy and anyone else trying to play the Vietnam quaqmire BS can kiss my butt.

This pole can kiss my butt!

Anyone of the 70% who prefer to abandon or military rather then support them and give each and every one of them a backup, replacement, additional troops, air cover, or whatever help we can possibly give, can kiss my butt!

Kerry did this crap to us back in the 70's and the SOB ain't getting away with it again!

IF OUR GUYS ARE THERE WE GIVE THEM WHATEVER THEY NEED OR WE BRING THEM HOME! No games. No half stepping.

Somebody needs to be charged with treason so this crap stops!! It should have been Hanoi Jane 45 years ago, but today, Kennedy's quotes comming from Al-Jazeera would suffice.

The poll is obviously biased. *However* there are some questions about simply sending more men which IMO have to be answered.

First off, why are we so delicate about "civilian casualties?" If they're taking up arms against the US, they're not civilians anymore. Treat them accordingly.

Second, "nation building" is a dubious proposition at best, especially when the vast majority of people in a nation want representative government only long enough to vote in an Islamic dictatorship. We *broke the back* of State Shinto at the end of World War II. We need to *religiously* break the back of radical Islam. But President Bush unfortunately set us on a wrong trajectory by declaring that Islam was a "religion of peace" and "this isn't a war against Islam." Sorry, it's not a "religion of peace," and this *is* a war against at least one Islamic sect.

Why is Al Jazeera still on the air?

If it's a war, *fight it* like one.
