Maybe somebody realized this tactic wasn't going to gain them much sympathy or support, even in the Mohammedan world.

7 South Korean Captives RELEASEDIf this is true, maybe the terrorists heard the South Korean Army was coming. They can get just a tad nasty.

So now it's just the 3 Japanese being held?
Maybe they decided it was better to focus their efforts on one country?

4/8/04 12:13 PM BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) -- Iraqi insurgents kidnapped eight South Koreans, three Japanese and two Arab Israelis, and captors armed with automatic rifles and swords threatened in a video released Thursday to burn the Japanese alive if Tokyo does not withdraw from the U.S.-led coalition within three days.
Two South Korean TV stations reported from Iraq early Friday that the South Koreans -- Christian missionaires -- had been released, but the Foreign Ministry in Seoul could not confirm that.
