Isakopf (SP) got moreinfo about Aug 7th brief and waht was in it. The commission called for declassification of the memo, thinks the WhiteHouse will have a hard time about not relasing it. Thinks it will have legs. Translation=he plans to see that it does.

Mathews, Isikoff, Andrea Mitchell....all interested in hyping this into a weapon of mass destruction for the administration. Ratings, readers, and partisan advantage for the democrats, that's their game. Lisa Myers didn't play the game, she gave facts which back up Rice's opinion of the report, but Mathews has ignored her..she won't be back today, that's for sure.

What Spike Isikoff fails to realize is that if the August 6th memo had legs, the Dems on the Commission would have made a bigger deal of it than they did. If there was anything in that memo that they could have used to attack Rice with, they would have pounded away with it.
