BV has tried the "yes" and "no" crap that is characteristic of all shyster lawyers. Rice bulled right through him and answered the questions her way.

BV looks small and partisan. That's what's important. The clapping crowd looks bullying.

I don't see any good coming outta this. Most Americans 'look-at-the-pictures' on the evening news... they can't understand the words.

I think so too.

Ben-Veniste instantly hit me as a ferocious liberal who would do whatever it took to bring down Condi. He obviously underestimated her.

The clapping in the audience made the whole thing look a few shades more partisan.

Condi won the battle.
