It's obvious to me that the Dims are more interested in primping for the camera and spitting out the bloviating crap than in actually hearing what Dr. Rice has to say.

On the other hand, the Republican members of this Stalinist Show Trial are asking pertinent and relavent questions and showing Dr. Rice the respect she deserves in letting her answer in full.

There sure isn't. The NYT admitted just as much in publishing Freepers' live reactions to two of the most significant events of the 21st Century -- 9/11, and the disintegration of the Columbia.

(Not to mention American Idol 2, The Bartman Incident, and the Super Bowl halftime show).

I was in a Freeper IRC channel chatting with an average of about twenty others when Ken Starr was grilled by the House Judiciary Committee in 1998. Starr was cool as a cucumber (until Clinton's personal lawyer Bruce Lindsey's smarmy questioning late in the evening) and essentially kicked butt all over the likes of Barney Frank, John Conyers, Jerrold Nadler, the incredibly irritating Robert Wexler, Zoe Lofgren, and Sheila Jackson-Lee. It was a shining moment for Starr, and I wrote to then-Freeper Lucianne Goldberg that I hoped Starr went home, had a couple of glasses of wine and a sweet night of love with his wife, because when he woke up the next morning, the media was going to pretend that he had been demolished by the 'rats.

It is unbelievable to me that the Dems could come off as so obviously confrontational and partisan, and yet there are those in this nation who are so blind as to believe they are the party to follow.

They behaved as though they were the prosecuting attorneys and Dr. Rice was the criminal on trial. Glad sbe put them in their place and insisted on being able to actually answer the questions.

Wrong attitudes like being afraid of emboldening the enemy are what get our troops in Combat, killed and blown up. Just like today when instead of stopping a 90 vehicle relief column for the terrorist in fallujah with a 500 lb bomb, we tried to talk to them and and got our 2 humvees blown up. Guess what happened to the men inside of them.

Why, because we are worried about being pc, not "emboldening" the enemy ... .
