Well once I saw the 'shut up condom' and 'she's screwing bush' threads, I was beginning to question myself *LOL* but it's pretty boring.

He actually called her Dick Clarke at one point? Kerrey repeatedly called her Dr. Clarke, until she had to forcefully correct him.

Too funny! :-P
To: FourtySeven
Why the heck should she give an apology to the families? AQ are the only ones who have the position for any apology.
To: FourtySeven
Not only once, he did it a total of 4 time. Dr. Rice finally corrected him stating "I don't look like Dick Clarke"

I'm not a big Gambling fan, but I consider him to be fairly objective.
One thing is starting to become clear to me is this:
I think all this talk about a "July surprise" at the Democratic convention (regarding the possible nomination of someone other than John Kerry) is overblown.
John Kerry is going to be the Democratic nominee for president. The Democratic Party is serving him up as the 2004 version of a Walter Mondale or a Bob Dole -- because they know there isn't a chance in hell that any Democrat is going to beat George W. Bush.
One thing about this administration is that everyone who works in it exudes an air of strong professionalism.

Ok, for those of us who are cubicly challenged, can someone give a synopsis of what happened today and how Condi fared?? I know from hearing her in the past that she probably did great, but I need someone to fill in the blanks a bit. THANKS!
To: Sacajaweau
Agree. Condi's response on the USS Cole attack was probably true but she should have said that responding 4 months after an attack would not have provided the necessary linkage and that a strategic response was needed given over 8 years of attacks against our interests. Clinton should have responded to the USS Cole.

You will now see the Dems try to distort what you're seeing to demonize Rice as much as they demonized McCarthy I think you may have hit on a good point. Regardless of the outcome of this hearing, the Dems, through their repeated lies and innuendo hare working hard to cast doubt on Rice's credibility. They know that she is a prime candidate for 2008 and if they poison her reputation now it will be less work for HRC...or the next wooden Indian they dig up...(no offense toward wooden Indians intended).

Jennings: Nobody ever said Dr. Rice was undetermined.
Faint praise indeed.
To: LisaFab
I'm sure it will come up at some time on FNC, maybe not right now but I'm sure when Hume's show is on tonight it will be mentioned.

Chrissy Mathews is suppose to interview the 9/11 widows later
Lisa Meyers is on and talking about the memo and the title
(IMO) Ben Vesti brought that up on purpose to give the liberal media something to chew on cause that's all Chrissy wants to talk about

My thoughts exactly, Pukin'.
2 1/2 hours of All Condi All the Time will trump whatever the goobers put on the air.
Condi did very well.
