My take exactly. First he starts in with a war on Radical Islam which is fine but then morphs into incomprehensible crap about American Christian soldiers which does three things.

It confirms for the jihadists in their sick minds that this all about religion, it makes it more difficult for Commanders in the filed to attack religious builidings when we are taking fire and it makes life more difficult and dangerous for our American Christian warriors.

I've been watching snipets here and there and all I see is badgering of Dr. Rice. Bob Kerrey was beyond rude in my opinion.

I wish someone would just say, "well, ya know, if we didn't have all these frickin' federal departments like the Department of Education and all we had was a Department of Defense which is the primary responsibility of the Federal government, then perhaps we could have prevented this attack. But we have all these departments and the President and his advisors have to attend to them so that's why the President was reading to children on the day of the attack. Now, if we eliminate all the superfluous departments and concentrate the Federal governments efforts and resources on defense and Homeland Security, we can probably assure ourselves of being safe from attack and we'd be getting back to the founding principles of this government."
