Who have you been talking to? I'm a military dependent and I can tel you that the President is highly regarded here in this section of the military community. And these are guys that have been Very busy. Yes, the morale is low because they are tired, however they respect the CIC.

The thing about W to me is that I think he knows exactly what he's asking of them and if there was another way he would do it. Rummy too, but they're still playing the hand they were dealt to a large extent. He doesn't talk about "I feel your pain", he talks about how PROUD he is of them. He is a Mensch. There is no one else to vote for except someone who obviously hates the military (worse than the Clintons even) and everything they stand for.

The only support Kerry could be receiving is from the Clintonistas that haven't been weeded out yet. Now that I mention it I hope there are a disproportionately high number of them among our casualties. I'm sorry for saying that but it's the way I feel.
