Interesting thought. I often wonder about the Iraqi moms when I see pictures of 10 year old kids with guns or laughing at burned, mutilated bodies. Their hearts must break.

Most Iraqi wives meet their 30 year old husbands on their wedding day at about age 15. It's an interesting comparison, to meet some American soldierss who don't push and shout and beat you. The social dynamics at work in Iraq must be off the chart now, as these cultures collide. It's possible that a lot of the jihadi jerk anger is directed against our troops because their wives are getting their eyes opened to the wider world.
