This is a bad day, and could become much worse, and bring much much worse in the days to come. We are all concerned and heartsick about what is going on in Iraq today. Calling people "chicken" doesn't solve or prove anything.
If we get into a position of taking 50 KIA and 250 wounded a week for months, do you think that would present a problem militarily or politically? That's quite possible in a general uprising.
***Is it possible, as Leventhal just said on FOX, that the attackers saw a bunch of Marines leaving the base at Ramadi (possibly to support the Fallujah operation), and decided to attack the lightly-defended outpost?

You expect me to answer a hypothetical and pessimistic question like that? Maybe SILLY chicken is not strong enough?
You folks need to get a grip. This is war, not policing. People die. Stop looking at this from a political perspective. One could almost argue that the insurgents are taking their clues from the American media and Ted Kennedy if you want to go there. I don't.
They are trying to shake our resolve, with assistance from our own media. Are you going to let them? Or, will you put your heads back on straight, and stop acting like flags in the wind, flapping with every breeze from the media?
The 'problem' belongs to the enemy, who I trust will be dead sooner if not later. When we kill enough of them, they will not be able to depend on the media to help them.
