CNN: The ATTACKERS in AR Ramadi ARE NOT SADR'S FOLLOWERS...While CNN's accuracy is about on par with Debka, this is still another variable in the equation.
Plus, someone posted to this thread earlier that several HVTs had been captured.
Curiouser and curiouser.

I have been reading this thread and one thing is abundantly clear. A 24 hours new source is not always good thing. Too much of a rush to report. I will wait for the facts after the battle. All this speculation and misinformation is making me sick.
That said, if the numbers dead are high.....maybe we will take the gloves off and bomb the entire friggin town. These people only respect extreme violence & force....so let's give them what they want.

CNN: The ATTACKERS in AR Ramadi ARE NOT SADR'S FOLLOWERS... It seems that the anti-coalition elements have decided to all attack at once instead of having the U.S. engage and defeat them in detail.
So be it.
One of our major enemies is the liberal press and the Democrats who thrive on turning small operations into quagmires. We may as well mount a major, all out assault against all dead enders be they Baathist, Sunni or Shiite and get the job done.
Iraq was never going to be stable until the fanatics were killed. Here is our opportunity to achieve stability.
