There seems to be an over-all sense of mis-trust from Freepers when it comes to anything published by Debka. Why is that?
Does Debka have a track record of getting things wrong?

Well, they have gotten some things right, but I am still mindful of the thousands of Chinese troops in Africa that they went on and on about.

Does Debka have a track record of getting things wrong?Hit and miss, I think. Though they have been ahead of the curve on several occassions...

Does Debka have a track record of getting things wrong? LOL!! My Debka epiphany came when they reported on the 600,000 man Chinese army in the Sudan....

Debka has a record of jumping on rumors, but at the same time if issues are close to home for them in Israel they're record isn't bad. Often we've seen stuff that seemed utterly implausible but came to fruition 2 or 3 weeks later. At the same time, we've seen many examples where they were just flat out wrong.
We stay skeptical, but also aware that sometimes they do get things right before anyone else. Just being prudent, I guess ;-)
