Jim - stupid question, but somebody's gotta ask it. Why doesn't FR just subscribe to the wires? I'm sure it's expensive, but I'm sure we monthly subscibers could pitch in a lot more if it meant we had free reign to post AP articles (let's face it - about 90% of national/international news in the local paper is direct form AP or Reuters). As an added bonus, subscribers to
AP Digital have access to articles from Washington Post (and many others) through their partnership. It would be cool to give WP a big na-na-na-boo-boo when we LEGALLY post an entire WP article.
Anyway, what's the feasability of something like this?
