Is there anything in their oath of office that say politicians must respond to voters after the vote?

Ignoring problems is a way of life in DC and state capitols.

Yes, but that's why I and others are working to replace Kolbe with Randy Graf. Maybe he'll listen to us.

Nope, nothing in the oath about it. However, being an elected official, you need to respond to those that voted you in or else you get voted out. Think of it as helping with job security.
