And while you're looking at construction sites, look and see how many American construction jobs have been lost to lesser paid illegal aliens who are paid in cash and who are getting free medical care. American construction workers have to pay their bills, but many of them have lost their jobs to illegals. Ask them, they'll tell you.

I don't know about California, but the unions here in NYC and PA are impossible to deal with. Actually I see the issue of outsourcing connected with hiring illegal alien labor. Too much government regs. BTW, illegals aren't paid that much less in construction. Now home health aides I know about because my mother got replaced by a FIVE dollar an hour illegal alien, and that person is getting a check with means after taxes it's like FOUR dollars. Four dollars to care for someone's ageing parent. Sheesh.
