I think it's the lesser of two evils anytime one chooses a politician. I do not hold them in very high regard for good reason. The people voted against funding illegal aliens in California and I'm POSITIVE it was not only conservative white males who voted for the proposition. A judge overturned that decision, the decision of the people. While I did have a lot of severe criticisms for Pat Buchanan, i also think the media would like to paint the movement to stop illegal alien entry as something exclusive to mean, evil white males. I do think the government better start listening to people otherwise when something happens on one of those ranches in Texas they'd better shut up.

That was Proposition 187, and it was overwhelmingly approved (and not just by white males) :^).

One liberal judge deemed it "unconstitutional", which none of us who voted for it understood. It was the other way around for us, we felt and still feel that it is unconstitutional to force people to support invaders.

The Government won't listen...the Dems need the votes, the repubs are afraid to wiggle because the media will carpet bomb them with the R word if they try to slow immigration down, all of this even though a huge majority of Americans want to give immigration a rest. The real villian is our popular culture and educational institutions, they have so intimidated people that they are afraid to speak.
