Most of the immigrants today are Mexicans in near poverty who cross the border to take advantage of America's social programs.

And God forbid they work 10 hours a day washing dishes or make beds and on Sundays the Priest mentions the Virgin Mary and they hope for one of their children becomes a Doctor who makes a significant advancement against cancer.

The horror of that reality.

I happen to have had very positive life experiences with Mexicans. I have a very positive attitude toward them. All that being said, it has never for a moment lead me to an attitude of throwing the gates wide open.
