The fact still stands that in your reply #399 that you posted a snippet of an article that is not currently topical and was proved wrong by the US midterm elections of 2002, while my reply about Buchanan echoing Peronist economic themes in reply #416 still stands.

The trend in the article has not been proven wrong by the 2002 election. You know that this election was unique caused by the effects of 9-11.

As 9-11 becomes more of a distant memory to the sheeple, they'll go back to seeing what entitlements they can get out of the government. The new immigrants of today will want these entitlements that were not available to the immigrants of old. To survive, the Republicans will have to move farther to the left.
