1.5 million dollar house Your estimate keeps going up, dear. It's nowhere near that. Improvements have made the supposed value higher. No matter how you spin it, taxes ARE too high. You seem to defend high taxation and illegal immigration. Why?

If you pay 7k in property taxes, and the value of your house doubled, and you fixed it up, and bought it in 1996, 1.3 to 1.5 is right on.
