Interesting.
I don't know what is wrong with Argentina. They have all of the ingredients including great resources and good land and whatnot to do well but they have been caught up in this Castillian drama play since before WWII which has included near Facism and near Marxism punctuated by repression.
I blame it on the Tango.

Actually, IMO, it the socialist/nationalist mentality of one of Buchanan's hero's, Juan Peron, that has Argentina in the economic doldrums.
