I saw your post of March 9 just last night, commenting on my screen name. You are the first person that I know of that figured out where it came from. Tom Mix was a bit of a hero to me as a little kid back in the days of silent film. Most freepers are not old enough to remember and I know you are not old so you used google to get it.

Charlie Chaplin was brilliant in silent films too. Not familiar with Tom Mix, but have heard of him.

Are you kidding? Saturday mantinee, ten cents for kids, main feature, and a B movie (Tom Mix, if we were lucky.) Pathe News, and maybe even a cartoon. A ten-cent Hershey bar could feed the whole family.
Are you still doing good, Tom? I pray for you every day.
