Aaahh!! My dad makes me furious! He and I were having an argument over abortion/death penalty and he said "There's a difference between the two." I said, "Yeah, one is killing an innocent child and the other is killing a cold blooded murderer!"

The difference that liberals see is that one is a moral act - intentionally killing evil doers, and the other is a mere act of convenience.
It's fine, in their view, to act out of convenience. But this morality business, now that's scary.
