FYI: A lot of people who are allergic to dogs in general are not allergic to poodles as the hair is different.

Thought you might want to visit someone who has only poodles and see if you have problems. OTOH, some people don't count poodles as dogs....

Hi PatriciaRuth, (I like your name),

Dogs, I don't have a problem with; I am allergic to cats!

And whenever I'm at someone's house who has cats, I do not even touch them; they find me intriguing, since usually visitors try to get them to say hello and so on, but all I want is for them to stay as far from me as possible. So, being contrary creatures, that makes them seek my attention, many times I have had cats pestering me because they can't understand why I am displaying aversion to them. Not the typical cat-to-human interaction, eh?

As for poodles, one of my aunts owns them, and they are cute little rodents, er, I mean canines.
