***Even psychogirl loves it!***

May I ask who psychogirl is?

I've had a psychocat or two--right now I have an alien cat.

P.S. Congrats on homeschooling! I've thought about it but don't think I have the patience. And school is on the next block, the classes are small, and we're way too far out in the boonies to have any of that really liberal stuff like "Heather has Two Mommies."

Happy Anniversary/Birthday to you!

I'd sing it, but my kids tell me I'm hopeless and Simon on American Idol would really hate me.

psychogirl is a freeper that posts VERY rarely, and just so happens to be my almost 14 yo daughter. She has a friend spending the night...they're in the living room cackling like hens.

No patience to homeschool? WHO DOES?! I invest in duct tape. And a padded cell. lol...actually, it's a learned trait and I'm so thankful I took the step. The district we live in is a testing ground for 'alternative lifestyle education'. Needless to say, we home educate, as do upwards of 10% of the student population here.

Think about what you just wrote, Grammie. Think hard...I know it's difficult since you haven't used the scrambled mess in a while..but try.

Well I am kind of desparate. Let's just say it's in-law family crap that I was a fool to get into in the first place, and it's just gotten more intertwined and codependent and twisted and demented and meshed and messed up . . . bad decisions have been made by all parties for years and it's all coming to a head and it's not a pretty sight.

***I invest in duct tape***

You sound like my kind of mom. I always wanted to build a velcro room; one side of the velcro on all the walls and velcro vests for the kids. Picture it; they annoy you, just put on their velcro vest and stick them to the wall. Don't forget the soundproof walls!

My daughter is 10 and entering adolescence. It's going to be a trying time, at times, I can tell. But then again she is a sweet and smart girl and basically very good.

I think the closer you are as a family, the better your kids will be through the teen years. Having Dad active in the personal side of parent/child relationships makes SUCH a difference too...imho. Although, at a certain age they will determine their own path. At 14, psychogirl is truly wonderful. Sure, she has her character flaws, but who doesn't? We're blessed, really.

Now about that velcroe....psycho would LOVE that! She mountain climbs and that'd be such a cool challenge. haha.
