I sure hope to heck so. Long story . . . I'll FReep you all of it if you want . . . trouble is we're in a small town and the other three houses on this side of the block, and the one right across the street are all for sale.

Our house sits on an entire city lot--several acres, and has an indoor swimming pool. Before you say "neato" just imagine the cost of filling and maintaining a pool (we haven't for YEARS) and the massive amount of yard work.

It was mr.h's grandparent's house and he inherited 1/2 of it when they died. His cousins, who were about 12 yrs. old at the time, inherited the other half, so we had the joy of buying 1/2 from them. Still paying it off, of course. It was the biggest mistake we've ever made.

people often say she looks like she got her nose in the ink well.

Haven't had anyone say that about Sadie yet but it's prolly just a matter of time...I'd always wanted a calico and the black patch on her face helped win me over.

Oh no offense taken. I love second shift. My true biology clock has more of a night time setting, but I am currently forced to get up early to survive my day.

When I homeschooled my kids (oh, was that the life) I would mosey out of bed around 7:30-8. I wouldn't even hear my husband get up and get ready for work at 4:30.

***The GOP just shouldn't get defensive when they don't behave exactly right. Apparently, the WH didn't. ***

The White House didn't get defensive, as it turns out. They were misquoted by the network, and therefore, by Letterman. Both apologized for the mistake. The boy's Republican father said it was hysterical.
