I hear ya, but we both know that destroying an entire city & it's inhabitants is not possible. It might be satisfying to contemplate, but it just ain't gonna happen -- we'd lose before that would happen.

By using the sonic weapon you are:

1. using non-lethal force,
2. crippling the demonstrators who must then make their way in an Islamic society that doesn't tolerate the handicapped, and
3. sending a message to the masses that any spontaneous demonstrations following a terror attack will be decisively dealt with.

And, by the way, any patrol that finds itself dealing with a deaf Iraqi can be pretty sure that they are dealing with a terrorist sympathizer.

There guys were more than just demonstrates. They are as guilty as the terrorist who actually killed them. We should find them and kill them. Every single one that's on that video tape should be killed. I would like for it to be done in view of the public to send a warning but we all know that won't happen. But at the very least I hope they track down the guys who mutilated these bodies and kill them no matter what. We shouldn't let scum like that go. They will never contribute one positive thing to Iraq or the world.
