The World Court will say their executions should be stayed.
duh, they are anti-death penalty
If the US follows their ruling, then we might as well not have an election.

The death penalty is opposed by most developed countries, THAT assertion always makes me MAD
but the issue has been a special source of irritation to Mexico. The Death Penalty Information Center says 55 of the 121 foreigners on U.S. death row are Mexican.
Damn straight. They're the ones who comitted the murders. DUH.

I think most (or all) of the death row
inmates are on death rows in states.
The federal government can't overturn the states.
Yet.

The world court is reviewing OUR judicial system? For Mexican citizens who likely broke our sovereign borders first?
They can go shove their judicial thoughts right down the stink hole that is the Mexican judicial system. I can just see the path this goes down.. New trials are ordered, the defendants are ordered to be granted bail, they skip back across the Mexican border and because they are subject to the death penalty, can't be extradited. How many murderers is Mexico already shielding? Bah, why are we bothering to show up in the first place?
Oh, yeah, that's why.. Because there are tons of activist judges who are just eager to pounce on the rulings of other countries to use not only as precedents (Hey there, Massachusetts) but also to subvert the will of the people. Hey, I wonder how long until the world court starts getting into gay marriage?

Just kidding about my drinking.
But it is an idea...
