It may have bode better for the two of them and the rest of the Democrat dingbats to have made this announcement the day after Clarke testified. They had to wait until after White House announced. The Democrats aren't known for their impeccable timing.

Well, I'm not sure that's true. I read in some article over a week or so ago that clinton and gore would be testifying. President Bush had already said he would testify. All I am saying is that the lead commissioners confirmed the appearance of clinton and gore today.
