My daughter watches HGTV, or "Trading Spaces" or "What Not to Wear." Talk about diversions! LOL

Karen Hughes is on Fox with O'Reilly. He seems testy with her.

"In downtown Cleveland, they cleared out the Justice Center due to a bomb threat. Over 2,000 people were milling around outside."
Thanks, mabelkitty!

Sorry about that, I was busy e-mailing Senator Miller regarding his wonderful floor speech on the 9-11 Commission today.

Actually, mine wasn't all that bad, but here's mine:
Just when was it ever proper for commission members to address the media in a biased fashion about upcoming witnesses? This press conference only shows the intent of this commission, to discredit the work of the Bush administration these past 3 years. If Hamilton and Kean were going to be open and fair about upcoming witnesses, they would withold public comment, especially to the media.

Tim Roemer (D) was also on Siegenthaler's show on MSNBC tonight and he was also spinning hard against the Bush administration. That makes 2 bipartisan commission members on MSNBC in one night bashing Bush (and I might add Roemer also praised the Clinton adminstration quite highly).

Can someone tell me when she is scheduled to speak....

No one knows yet. When the media finds out, we'll all find out.

From their website, the likely upcoming dates would be:
April 13-14, 2004
June 8-9, 2004 both in Washington, DC.
There's another set in the middle being held in NYC, unlikely she'll be at that one, as that one will focus on first responders and emergency preparedness.

As you can see from this morning, I too have moments where I become fed up with the whole matter. First I am assured that Condi wont testify, then I look like a nut when they announce that she will. I've been careful to share information only when I know it to be accurate, so part of my anger this morning was out of being made wrong.
When all else fails and you can keep calm no longer, I suggest liquor.

LOL. You have had such good information that those who know you think nothing of the fact that you were disappointed Condi agreed to testify.
We appreciate more than words can say the information you share and especially your optimism. Consider it your contribution to the Bush re-election campaign!
You keep us from wanting to pound our heads against the wall. We'll see how this all works out. I think Condi is bright as all get out but have also seen her under pressure where she didn't make the case as well as she could. The Rats will stop at nothing and will do all they can to undermine her. The administration had better be getting up to hardball speed sooner rather than later.
Anyway, truly - thank you for keeping us sane last week.
