Loggong has been blocked by environmentalists on both public and private lands for too long. Not only has it crippled the logging industry, it has caused a dangerous "fuel" build up. Harvestable timber that could and should be helping our economy is being burnt to a crisp, often taking homes and lives that happen to be in the way. The last 2 years have been particularly devastating. To suggest that the solution to wildfire prevention is taxpayer funded programs to clear brush 200 feet from homes is laughable. Just laughable.
